DESCRIPTION:Dangerous Goods Management presents a 1/2 day course available for those needing training as part of the CAA Rules Part 109 for Regulated Air Cargo Agents (RACA) \nPart 109 requires an organisation to have security controls in place\, and that every person involved in a RACA related security function is appropriately trained.  This course provides practical information for anyone involved in the security of international air cargo and mail carried on a passenger aircraft.  Note that this training is only part of the requirements under Part 109; attendees will also need to obtain a favourable Aviation Security check and be trained in the specifics of their role\, as per the company’s RACA Exposition. Subjects that are covered within the course include: \n \nKey Topics:\n\nPrinciples and application of the Rule;\nScreening standards and procedures;\nThreats to Civil Aviation;\nTamper evident controls;\nFacility requirements and Quality Assurance;\nThe Enforcement and Compliance regime;\nResponsibilities of the Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA) and others;\nKnown and unknown customers;\nAuthorisation procedures;\nDeclarations and Documentation; \n  \nWho should attend:\n\nStaff involved in the security and handling of all international air cargo carried on a passenger aircraft.\n \nDocumentation required:\n\nNo documentation required.
