SUMMARY:Flammable Gas and Liquids Chemical HSWA Training
DESCRIPTION:This half day course is compliant with the Hazardous Substance Regulations 2017 Regulation 4.5\, and is designed for sites with only Class 2.1: Flammable Gases and/or Class 3: Flammable Liquids\, and is delivered in partnership with Environmental Resources Limited.  The previous concept of Approved Handler was replaced with Regulation 4.5 and from 1st December 2017 the Health and Safety Work Act places responsibility on everyone who handles\, stores or uses hazardous substances\, regardless of the quantities\, to now be trained under Regulation 4.5.  \nEvent time/Venue:\nThis course commences at 9.00am and finishes at approximately 12.30pm.\nTraining takes place at Dangerous Goods Management\, 39 Richard Pearse Drive\, Airport Oaks. \nWho should attend:\nThis course is designed for sites with only Class 2.1: Flammable Gases and/or Class 3: Flammable Liquids\, such as:\n–  Spray painting type operations\,\n–  Warehousing and distribution\,\n–  LPG only sites (Swappa bottles\, forklift cylinders\, etc)\, and\n–  Service stations. \nDocumentation required:\nAttendees are required to present a form of photo ID at the course (drivers licence\, passport or 18+ card).  Additionally attendees must also provide a clear colour photocopy of this documentation.  Attendees can either:\n–  Provide their identification on arrival to the course and our administration team will arrange a scan of this identification for filing\, or\n–  E-mail a clear colour photocopy of their identification to the administration team (online registrations will receive an email from our team after registration). \nProvisions:\nDetailed workbook\, pen and paper will be supplied. \nCertificate awarded:\nOn successful completion of this course a certificate will be issued:\n–  Certificate of Training – validity 36 months (3 years). \nCourse refreshments:\nMid-morning refreshments are provided as part of this course. \nAssistance:\nPlease advise our team (in confidence) before the start of the course of any physical or learning difficulties you\, or in the case of employers\, your employee\, may have e.g impairments with mobility\, visual\, hearing and/or speech\, or difficulty in reading and writing. SUMMARY:Comprehensive Chemical HSWA Training
DESCRIPTION:Delivered in partnership with Environmental Resources Limited this course provides training for sites with multiple HSNO Classifications (2\, 3\, 4\, 5\, 6\, 8) in line with the Hazardous Substance Regulations that came into effect on 1st December 2017.  Any staff who handle\, store or use hazardous substances\, regardless of the quantities\, will now require to be trained under Regulation 4.5.\n\nFor sites with Class 6: Toxic Substances 6.1A and/or 6.1B\nThe Comprehensive Chemical HSWA training does not provide HSWA Certified Handler Certification\, however Comprehensive Chemical HSWA training is a prerequisite to become a HSWA Certified Handler. SUMMARY:International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG)
DESCRIPTION:This course provides an all encompassing view on requirements surrounding the carriage of dangerous goods by sea.  It is designed for shippers of dangerous goods\, their agents and shipping line operator acceptance staff while satisfying the training provision set out in Section 1.3 of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code. DESCRIPTION:This IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) for Preparing Dangerous Goods Consignments 7.1 Initial 5 day course which is approved by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (Civil Aviation Rule (CAR) Part 141) – Personnel responsible for preparing dangerous goods consignments as per IATA DGR Section 1.5 and in accordance with CBTA approach for Function 7.1.  This course will expose students to class exercises and case studies\, practical shipment and document exercises and a final (theoretical/practical) assessment. \nTarget audience:\nThis course is designed for:\n–  Shippers and Packers\n–  Manufacturers and Exporters of Dangerous Goods or Products Containing Dangerous Goods and Operators\n–  Freight Forwarding Staff acting as shippers\n–  Shippers\, cargo agents\, consolidators\, freight forwarders and others preparing dangerous goods shipments for air freight. \nDocumentation required:\nAll course material is supplied\, excluding calculators and the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations\, 67th Edition.  If you are unable to bring your own copy of the current IATA DGR to course these are available for hire ($75+GST – see optional tickets for purchase below) or purchase here.  Limited copies are available for hire.\nAttendees are required to present a form of photo ID at the course (drivers licence\, passport or 18+ card).\nAdditionally attendees must also provide a clear colour photocopy of this documentation\, for Dangerous Goods Management to comply with CAA Part 141 Accreditation\, we are required to retain proof of identity for students undertaking training.  Attendees can either:\n–  Provide their identification on arrival to the course and our administration team will arrange a scan of this identification for filing\, or\n–  E-mail a clear colour photocopy of their identification to the administration team (online registrations will receive an email from our team after registration). \nCertificate awarded:\nAn IATA Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the course and an assessment to participants who obtain a grade of 80% or higher on the exam.  A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher. DESCRIPTION:This IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) for Processing or Accepting Dangerous Goods Consignments 7.3 Initial 5 day course which is approved by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (Civil Aviation Rule (CAR) Part 141) – Personnel responsible for processing or accepting Dangerous Goods Consignments as per IATA DGR Section 1.5 and in accordance with CBTA approach for Function 7.3. This course will expose students to class exercises and case studies\, practical acceptance exercises and document exercises and a final (theoretical/practical) assessment. \nTarget audience:\nThis course is designed for:\n–  Personnel who are responsible for accepting & perform cargo acceptance of dangerous goods consignments\n–  Personnel working for cargo agents\, consolidators and freight forwards who are responsible for processing dangerous goods consignments from shippers to airlines\n–  IATA Cargo agent applicants willing to fulfill the training requirements for DGR \nProvisions and course refreshments:\n– Detailed workbook\, pen and paper will be supplied.\n– Refreshments and lunch are provided as part of this course.  Dietary requirements can be catered for within the provided lunch ensuring this is advised upon booking.  The following dietary requirements can be catered for: dairy free\, gluten free\, no pork/beef\, and vegetarian.\n– Free on site parking\, first come first served basis.
