HSWA Workplace Chemical Handling Training – Basic: 9 February 2018 **SOLD OUT**

Delivered in partnership with Dangerous Goods Compliance (DGC), this course provides training in line with the new Hazardous Substance Regulations.  The previous concept of Approved Handler has been replaced with Regulation 4.5 and from 1st December 2017 any staff who handle, store or use hazardous substances, regardless of the quantities, will now require to be trained under Regulation 4.5.

This half day course is compliant with the Hazardous Substance Regulations 4.5.

This course is not scheduled at our typical times.  Please note that this course commences at 8.30am and finishes at approximately 12.30pm.

Who should attend:

This course is designed for sites with only Class 3: Flammable Liquids and/or Class 2: Flammable Gases, such as:

• Spray painting type operations
• Warehousing and distribution
• LPG only sites (Swappa bottles, forklift cylinders, etc)
• Service stations

Documentation required:
Attendees to this course will be required to show a form of photo ID at the course (driver’s licence, passport or 18+ card).

Certificate awarded:
On successful completion of this course one certificate will be issued:

Cancellation terms:
Cancellations or course transfers made on or after Friday, 2nd February 2018 will be subject to a $100.00+GST cancellation/transfer fee.  Cancellations/transfers within 48 hours of the course date or non-attendance, once registered, without notification will incur full course cost.
