IATA DGR Presale
Every year (September-October) Dangerous Goods Management runs a pre-sale for the following year’s applicable IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.   Clients will be advised through a variety avenues and ordering has been made simple via three easy options:

Dangerous Goods Management (DGM) Training Services

DGM Training Services are able to offer you a full range of Regulatory Compliance Support options.  We have a range of courses ensuring your staff have training available to comply with the relevant regulations.  Our public courses are perfect for anyone learning dangerous goods regulations for the first time.  Some courses offered require prerequisite documentation to be completed, or their may be post course documentation.  Our administration team will supply these on course booking, however if you can’t find your copy see below for an easy reference:

Air Cargo Loading and Restraint Course
No prerequisite training required for this course.  No post course documentation. 
Dangerous Goods Handling Course
No prerequisite training required for this course. No post course documentation. 
HSWA Workplace Chemical Handling Training - Basic, facilitated by Dangerous Goods Compliance
This course is facilitated by Dangerous Goods Compliance (DGC).  This course provides training in line with the new Hazardous Substance Regulations.  The previous concept of Approved Handler has been replaced with Regulation 4.5 and from 1st December 2017 any staff who handle, store or use hazardous substances, regardless of the quantities, will now require to be trained under Regulation 4.5  Attendees will also be required to provide a form of photo ID at the course (drivers licence, passport, 18+ card). 
HSWA Workplace Chemical Handling Training - Comprehensive, facilitated by Dangerous Goods Compliance
This course is facilitated by Dangerous Goods Compliance (DGC).  For sites with Class 6: Toxic Substances (e.g. 6.1A, 6.1B) a HSWA Certified Handler Certification is also required and training is provided within this course.  This requirement must be stated upon course booking as additional documentation is required to enroll at this level.   Toxic Substances (e.g. 6.1A, 6.1B) include the following: Liquids – Isocyanates, Gases – Chlorine, and Corrosives – Hydrochloric Acid.  Documentation for this additional certification requirement will be provided upon registration.  Attendees will also be required to provide a form of photo ID at the course (drivers licence, passport, 18+ card). 
IATA Dangerous Goods Initial 5-Day Course
No prerequisite training required for this course. No post course documentation.  All course material is supplied, excluding calculators and the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations however this is available for hire/purchase if required (limited copies are available). 
IATA Dangerous Goods Recurrent 3-Day Course
No prerequisite training required for this course. No post course documentation.  All course material is supplied, excluding calculators and the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations however this is available for hire/purchase if required (limited copies are available). 
IATA Infectious Substances by Air Course
No prerequisite training required for this course. No post course documentation. 
International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Course
No prerequisite training required for this course. No post course documentation. 
Introduction to Freight Forwarding Course
No prerequisite training required for this course. No post course documentation. 
MPI Accredited Person (AP) Courses, facilitated by SPS Biosecurity Ltd
The Sea & Air Training for Accredited Person course and Air & Sea Training for Accredited Person course are both facilitated by MPI approved training provider SPS Biosecurity Ltd. A Certificate of Training will be awarded on successful completion of this course.  On receipt of Certificate of Training attendees will then require to submit an Application for Appointment as an Accredited Person, along with proof of identification and proof of training. Attendees to this course will be required to show a form of photo ID at the course (driver’s licence, passport or 18+ card). 
MPI Transitional Facility Operator (TFO) Training Course, facilitated by SPS Biosecurity Ltd
This course is facilitated by MPI approved training provider SPS Biosecurity Ltd.  Attendees must bring the following documents with them to the course:

Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA) Security Course
No prerequisite training required for this course. No post course documentation.  If attendees require training and certification as part of the requirements within CAA Rule Part 109, this is only one step in the process to become authorised.  This person will still need to ensure that they complete requirements below:
  • Aviation Security Check;
  • Be trained in the specifics of their RACA responsibilities as per the companies Exposition;
  • Hold written authority to carry out whichever functions are appropriate to their role, as outlined in your company’s Exposition.
