AIR FREIGHT TRAINING

IATA DANGEROUS GOODS COMPETENCY BASED TRAINING

In 2023 IATA Courses will transition from the previous 3-Day and 5-Day format into a competency-based format. There will be many more courses available to suit the specific requirements of students. Please contact our training team for futher information.

IATA INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCE TRAINING

Documentation and pre-course requirements:
–  All course material supplied. 

–  Attendees to this course will be required to show a form of photo ID at the course (driver’s licence, passport or 18+ card).

AIR CARGO LOAD AND RESTRAINT

REGULATED AIR CARGO AGENT TRAINING

Documentation and pre-course requirements:
–  No prerequisite training required for this course. 

–  Attendees to this course will be required to show a form of photo ID at the course (driver’s licence, passport or 18+ card).

If attendees require training and certification as part of the requirements within CAA Rule Part 109, this is only one step in the process to become authorised.  This person will still need to ensure that they complete requirements below:

  • Aviation Security Check;
  • Be trained in the specifics of their RACA responsibilities as per the companies Exposition;
  • Hold written authority to carry out whichever functions are appropriate to their role, as outlined in your company’s Exposition.

INTRODUCTION TO FREIGHT FORWARDING

This course is available as an onsite training course (minimum 10 attendees).

HSWA TRAINING

FLAMMABLE GAS AND LIQUIDS CHEMICAL HSWA

This half day course is compliant with the Hazardous Substance Regulations 2017 Regulation 4.5, and is designed for sites with only Class 2.1: Flammable Gases and/or Class 3: Flammable Liquids, and is delivered in partnership with Environmental Resources Limited.

–  Attendees to this course will be required to show a form of photo ID at the course (driver’s licence, passport or 18+ card).

COMREHENSIVE CHEMICAL HSWA

Delivered in partnership with Environmental Resources Limited this course provides training for sites with multiple HSNO Classifications (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8) in line with the Hazardous Substance Regulations that came into effect on 1st December 2017.  Any staff who handle, store or use hazardous substances, regardless of the quantities, will now require to be trained under Regulation 4.5.

Training does not include Certified Handler Certification.  For sites with Class 6: Toxic Substances (6.1A and 6.1B) that require HSWA Certified Handler Certification please contact and Dangerous Goods Compliance (DGC) who can further assist with this assessment.

Designed for those requiring a general overview of dangerous goods and provides specific training for those persons completing dangerous goods declarations for road freight. Available via public training or self-paced online study.
